There’s something thrilling about a band that never loses their bite. Last Hounds have always thrived on the kind of chaos that demands a crowd to throw themselves around, and they haven’t shied away from that mantra with their new single, World’s Disease.” Three minutes, no bullshit, just pace, weight, and pure fury spat straight into your face. It’s tight, it’s filthy, and it’s undeniably Last Hounds.

From the moment “World’s Disease” kicks in, there’s no easing you into anything. Right away, you’re pitched into a mosh-pit mindset: tempo high, adrenaline higher.

The guitars are crushing but never sloppy and the riffs have real chunk to them. They lean into that punk-hardcore crossover the band built their bones on, but they don’t just recycle old patterns. Everything feels tuned for live destruction. Crowd-friendly, for sure. Pit-designed, no doubt.

Vocals ride that razor’s edge. The delivery’s raw and pissed off, but never messy. You can feel what’s being said without needing to catch every word. It’s frustration with purpose, not just noise for the sake of noise. There’s anger, there’s urgency, but also clarity. Last Hounds know what they’re good at; fast, angry, punk/hardcore energy with hooks and groove, and “World’s Disease” doubles down on it.

There’s a confidence running through “World’s Disease” that feels earned. Last Hounds have been putting in the miles; sweaty clubs, festival slots, endless nights across the UK hardcore circuit, and it shows. They sound sharper, louder, and more in command than ever.

If you’ve ever caught them live, you already know this is the kind of song that turns a room upside down. And, if you haven’t, their December headline run just around the corner; Glasgow (Dec 5), Birmingham (Dec 6), Bristol (Dec 7) and London (Dec 9), there’s no doubt this one’s going to go off – (see you there, Birmingham!).

In short: if you’re after something polished and pretty, keep scrolling. But if you want a track that sounds like bottled adrenaline, this is it.
