Nearly three years after the release of their ninth studio album; Will Of The People, Muse are back with their latest single, Unravelling – and fans are most certainly feeling the glow.

The track opens with a dramatic, almost exasperated chant of its title to instantly set the tone before fading into a spacey, synth-forward beat that weaves its way throughout the verse and pre-chorus. Matt Bellamy’s trademark vocals are introduced to enhance the atmosphere and pull listeners into a sense of anticipation of what is to come.

Unravelling truly shines in its chorus and bridge, with the addition of Don Howard’s powerful drumming and Chris Wolstenholme’s gritty bass lines that add a heavier and more textured sound in comparison to the sparser verses.
